An important principle of the company is to be part of the local community and to use as many local companies as possible to supply goods and services for the company.

We regularly spend time at Ashcombe School in Dorking working with Year 10 pupils during Business Week.  The pupils get to try out what its like to run a business for a few days as part of learning what the world of work is like.

Another important principle is to be involved with a charity.  Hoolock Consulting gives a fixed percentage of its revenue each year to a nominated charity.

In 2019, we have already supported Build Africa, a charity that works with schools in UK and Africa to provide education facilities for children in Africa. They partner with remote and rural communities where children are leaving school without vital basic skills. Their approach helps parents and teachers to create sustainable, effective schools and to nurture children's learning.

We are also training to cycle the London Surrey Classic, a 100 mile cycle ride on 4th August 2019. We are raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK for this. If you would like to donate, you can do that here.
